- Does this replace our paper fire logbook entirely?
- Yes. Every entry that would have gone in a paper logbook is logged digitally instead, always current and never left in a drawer.
- Can staff at each site log their own weekly tests?
- Yes, from any phone. Certificates and service records from Smartec engineers are added automatically on completion.
- Is this only for multi-site clients?
- No. A single building gets the same live record and compliance view as an estate of a hundred sites, just without the estate-wide reporting layer.
- Can we export reports for our insurer or an audit?
- Yes, compliance reporting is exportable on demand, covering any site or the whole portfolio.
- Who can see what in the portal?
- Site staff see their own building. Central or regional managers see everything they're responsible for. One record, permissioned by role.
