The construction of the London Institute for Healthcare Engineering (LIHE) on the St Thomas’ campus will foster collaboration between King’s College London, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, and the medtech sector. This initiative aims to expedite the translation of healthcare engineering research into innovative products and technologies that will directly benefit patients. In 2019, LIHE received £16 million in funding from UKRPIF to establish this groundbreaking institute.

Project Overview
100 Bishopsgate is a sleek, contemporary skyscraper in the heart of London’s financial district. Soaring 181 meters, the glass-clad tower boasts a distinctive design with a crystalline crown. Housing offices, retail spaces, and public sky garden, it combines modern architecture with functional urban amenities, offering a dynamic cityscape. The building’s commitment to responsibility is evident through the achievement of a ‘BREEAM’ excellent’ rating, their annual GRESB submissions, and their attainment of ActiveScore Platinum ratings.
